What kind of Pecans used:

I used RAW Pecans in this recipe. My friend has an online business selling Raw Nuts at wholesale prices. Check out Simply Nuts if you want to get some raw nuts. Simply Nuts is a wholesaler supplier and distributor of high quality, premium dried nuts (conventional/organic/raw) based in Toronto, Ontario.

My honest opinion about raw nuts: they are not the most flavored nuts. It is healthy for you! If you are looking for flavored nuts, then I would recommend roasting the raw nuts at home. I roast the RAW Pecans that I got from Simply Nuts and it as a HIT!

I brought a container of the Candied Pecans for my team to snack on during our Volleyball League playoff night. My team mates loved it and wanted MORE!

I made this recipe several times for one of my teammates and he loves it! One time, he brought the batch that I made for him home and his 9 year old son couldn’t stop eating the candied pecans! My teammate kept asking for more! The candied pecans taste nutty and crunchy. It makes a delicious sweet treat!
