Join us this year again to ride your bike on DVP on Sunday, June 3, 2012 for a great cause!

This is the 25th anniversary Becel Heart&Stroke Ride for Heart.  This is an opportunity for you to Extend the lives of all Canadians, Experience the ride on traffic-free Gardiner Expressway and DVP, Take Photo of the beautiful sight of ACC and Skydome on the highway as your ride!

You can pick to ride 25Km, 50Km or 75 Km.  There will be water, fruits and snacks provided at each stop station as you ride along the DVP.

Your registration fee helps to offset event costs, including traffic-free access to the DVP and Gardiner, rest stations with snacks and beverages, route marshals for safety, and other event day costs. Fundraising in addition to this fee is required to support vital research and life-extending advancements in heart disease and stroke.

The funds you raise will support life-giving research, social change programs, and health information initiatives, moving us towards our ultimate goal of eradicating heart disease and stroke. Heart disease and stroke take 1 in 3 Canadians before their time and is the #1 killer of women. Every dollar raised will help save lives.

It must be very annoying for your caller to hear the ringback ring tones when you are trying to reach you.  If you are with Rogers and would like to remove your ringback ring tone on your iphone, follow the following steps:

1.  Go directly to web site:  https://ringbacks.urmusic.ca/RogersRBTWeb/

2.  Go to “MENU” and click on ”My Profile (Turn ON/OFF)” on the left side:

3.  You will get a prompt to get a “One Time Password” as per below:

Enter your cell phone number that has the ringback tone and type in the characters shown in the prompt (for example:  w4ee5) and click on “SUBMIT”.

4.  Once you are done with step# 3, you will get a code sent to your phone by text messaging as per below:

RINGBACKS: her ya go, this is your One Time Password: c916c675

5.  Enter the code received on your cell phone via text and click on “Login here”:

6.  Click on “My Profile (Turn ON/OFF) on the left MENU and this will take you to “MANAGE MY RINGBACKS”.

Go to “RINGBACKS ON|OFF” and turn “OFF” the RINGBACKS on your cell phone.

Your phone will now play a standard “ring, ring” tone.
