PURA VIDA! It means “Pure Life” in Costa Rica. Tamarindo is a beach community and you can walk around the town without feeling dangerous.
The Best time to go to Tamarindo, Costa Rica is in March. We flew from Toronto to Liberia Airport via Sunwing Airline. Due to inflation, this price may have changed. Make sure to check with the host for the price when you book the driver.
Where We Stayed in Tamarindo, Costa Rica:
There are 5 of us travelling on this trip and we stayed in Tamarindo, Costa Rica from March 1-4 at an Airbnb hosted by Sol Sunshine. This place has 2 bedrooms , 4 beds , 2 baths.
If you are travelling in a group (with friends and/or family), renting an Airbnb is the way to go. This location is perfect as it is very central to everything. The unit is located in a quiet area within a 5 minutes walk to the beach and 2 minutes to the nearest restaurants and markets.
This cozy condominium is only 300 meters away from the beach and the center of Playa Tamarindo downtown. It is located in a gated community with a great pool and outdoor area.
The apartment has two room upstairs. A master bedroom with queen bed and private bathroom, and the second room has two twins beds. Downstairs you have two sofa that converts to a twin bed downstairs.
