Here’s a quick and simple recipe of how to make a poached salmon dish from my friend. I tried it and it is so easy to make and it tastes delicious!
Marinade: Mix all the above ingredients together. You can also use a food processor to mix the ingredients but not too finely (e.g. a few pulses)
Rub the marinade all over the fish, flip the fillets over so that the marinade gets underneath and all around it.
Wrap the salmon fillets in aluminum foil, making sure to pour all the marinade in with the fish, so that the fillets are more or less sit in a shallow bed of the dilly, garlicy, salty, peppery olive oil.
Tips: You can wrap the fillets individually or together, but make sure to add a second wrapping of aluminum foil to prevent the olive oil from leaking out.
Place the fillets on a preheated BBQ Grill on medium for 10-15 minutes (depends on how thick the fillets are).
If you don't have a BBQ, you can bake the fish in an oven.
No aluminum foil needed. You can place the fish directly on a baking dish
Baking Time: 10-15 minutes depending on how thick the fillets are
