Menu at Jim Chai Kee Wonton Noodle:
Jim Chai Kee has the Largest, FRESH Shrimp Wonton! I normally order the “Signature Noodle (Wonton, Beef and Fishball)” if I am hungry. I prefer the vermicelli noodles over the egg noodles. This dish only costs $8 plus tax! The fishball is fresh and big! This dish comes with 2 huge shrimp wonton, 2 fishballs and 2 pieces of beef!
If you are NOT too hungry, order Jim Chai Kee A5 – Wonton and Beef Egg Noodle soup!
If you are VERY hungry, add EXTRA Noodles for $3.
Add a Side Veggie Plate – Gai Lan with Hoi Sin Sauce
Home-Made Chili Oil at Jim Chai Kee:
Jim Chai Kee sells the BEST Home-Made Chili Oil! Adding this chili oil to a bowl of Jim Chai Kee’s wonton noodle soup and the veggie plate makes a BIG Difference! They also sell the home-made chili oil at the cash counter. They carry 2 different kinds of chili oil. The chili oil in the smaller mason jar is chili made with dry shrimp paste. The bigger mason jar is the regular chili oil. The regular chili oil costs $12. Their chili oil tastes different than those found in the Chinese grocery store and it is worth the money.
Jim Chai Kee’s chili oil is the best! I have bought it twice from them and use the chili oil on all my Chinese food as I like my food spicy! This home-made chili oil can be used as one of the ingredient to make Chili and Lime Edamame! It makes the chili and lime edamame extra yummy!
